Farley Mowat is one of the best nature writers I’ve ever read.
He is always the iconoclast, and I happen to have a soft spot for people who try to look at things from very different perspectives than those currently accepted as orthodoxy.
Orthodoxy is a sedative. Heresy is a stimulant.
That’s how my brain works.
