Weddings are expected to be ridiculously complicated now. But to me, the most important thing is that the food isn’t bad. Nothing’s worse than going to a wedding that has a terrible buffet. =P

  My cousin, who used to work for Alaskan fish and game, got married this way:
  
  He and his wife had a civil marriage overlooking the glaciers that aren’t far from Alaska. My aunt was not informed of the ceremony, nor were any members of her family.

My brother would kill me if I sent that video to his daughter who is planning her wedding right now.

Gotta say it’s nice to see the bridesmaids looking better in their dresses than the groomsmen do in their outfits. Usually bridesmaids’ dresses flatter *no* one.

  In a few years, we’re going to have dancing down the aisle as a cultural norm for our weddings. I almost guarantee it.

I love that video because it has joy. Joy should be a part of EVERY wedding no matter how we dress it. I mean, isn’t that the point of starting a life together?
