This golden retriever brought food and comfort to another dog that was left tied without food and water.
In Beaumont, Texas, a starving dog was left tied in its owner’s backyard.
Its owner had given up on it. No one seemed to care.
The dog kept getting thinner and thinner.
But someone did care.
It turns out that a stray golden retriever actually did do something.
This golden retriever used its soft mouth to bring food to the starving dog.
But there is only so much that a stray retriever can bring to another dog.
And the poor tethered stray died.
But the golden didn’t leave its side.
The golden was found lying next to its deceased companion when the police showed up.
It is really amazing that that golden retriever showed more mercy and compassion toward that dog than that dog’s owner.
I hope that wonderful golden retriever found a good home.
