I red a mid-1800s journey descrpition from Canadian east coast and about the seal hunting.
The ship crew killed 3000 baby seal just in few days.They knocked them in the head and skinned them quickly after. The european scientist who’s a guest on the board, hunts gladly along the crew but tells he can’t stand the skinned carcasses still a-living in the heap..
How much pain humans have caused to animals I just wonder.
It’s Mike!!!!! I live in Grand Junction, Colorado. Just 20 minutes from Fruita, home of Mike the Headless Chicken. This weekend is Mike the Headless Chicken festival. Fun story, they used to bring him to freak shows with his head in a jar. But a cat ate his real head, so they cut off another chicken’s head and pretended it was Mike’s.
