   the tail reminds me of a Golden-pheasant hen, but that smudged nape and collar look like nothing i have seen before –

   there’s some bare-eye, too.
   i am going to say hybrid –
   Ring-necked Pheasant [China native] and domestic chicken.

   I agree with terry, although I’m not sure on the species of pheasant.
   The really dark bluish nape may hint at some peafowl heritage?
