This critique is scathing and very thorough. However, all you have to see are his diagrams showing coyotes as an intermediate stage between wolves and domestic dogs. And he also thinks dholes and African wild dogs (Lycaon pictus) are just feral domestic dogs.
(Another good reason to change the name of Lycaon pictus. It’s not a feral dog at all. It’s really a living member of the old Xenocyon lineage.)
You don’t need to listen to the rest of it. You know he’s way off just from his failure to understand basic canid taxonomy.
The coyote species is older than the wolf species. How could coyotes be the missing link between dogs and wolves?
