   was it a year ago a ‘trainer’ in SoCal was killed by a grizzly during a training session?
   [i put trainer in quotes because i know zip about the trainer, the animal-actor company who employed him, etc]

   i notice this guy conveniently glosses-over how he came to be in possession of a grizzly, too – it’s not like they carry grizz-cubs at Sams Club or PetsMart.
   picking up a supposed ‘orphan’ is also strongly frowned-upon.

   bears are intelligent, but hard to read, and flash from irritation to rage in a heartbeat; grizzlies are even more temperamental than black-bears, as a species.
   this makes bears in general more-dangerous than many other large animals, and polar and grizzly bears more dangerous than others.

   the sloth-bear has the worst reputation for a wicked temper and easily-triggered violence; they are much smaller, but attacks on humans in the jungle are often severely damaging or fatal.

   the bear that played Gentle Ben and his son were hand-reared, but the trainer had a sterling reputation – this guy, i dunno – he appears to be an Irwin-wannabe, but i could be wrong.
