    Mark is invited by the landowners to lamp on their land. It keeps the rabbit population down, his dogs will kill ten-twenty rabbits in a night. He also ferrets with them to clear out warrens on farmer’s properties. The rabbits get fed to the dogs and ferrets.

Can’t say I care for that, couldn’t watch much of it. Not clear on the point of it (don’t really care to be clear on the point of it, either).

The dogs are gorgeous, though.

I’m assuming the point is to keep down the rabbit population.

I had a hard time following it, but from what I could, it’s interesting dog work. Much more primal that retriever work, for sure!!!

  The saluki-type has been around a lot longer than any retriever.
  
  Retrievers didn’t really take off until shotguns became widely available.
