Having seen a dozen pairs of swine copulating at once, I can tell you that the pushing on the sows hip is courtship behavior. The boars slap the sows’s hips with their heads as part of the mating ritual.
i don’t even have to watch the video to note that rams [sheep] have a similar courting behavior, shoulder-bumping the ewe’s butt, slipping a foreleg between her fetlocks, and running their jaw and neck along her flank, lip-licking with their chins extended.
some rams grunt or blaatt, some snort, some just lip-lick noisily.
rams will also Flehmen extravagantly, necks and lips extended, mouth open and head high, with their forelegs braced.
