It is a red-eyed crocodile skink (Tribolonotus gracilis).
Crocodile skinks are fond on islands from West Papua eastward to the Solomons.
The red-eyed species is found in Papua New Guinea and the Admiralty Islands. In captivity, it requires high humidity in its enclosures to thrive.
Actually, believe it or not, dinosaurs do exist! Birds are dinosaurs.
