A chow – lab or chessie.
duck tolling retriever mix?
Without seeing the tongue and tail, I’d have agreed with Chow and Toller b/c of the ears, nose, coat color.

Shar Pei is a short-haired chow, “a little” exaggerated in his features. Both very hard to train – wonder how that retriever X china dog is?
My puppy looks just like this but a little less defined and a black nose and a black and pink tongue. Originally I thought he was german shephard and chow, but he doesn’t look like a german shephard at all, so i’m starting to lean more towards Golden retreiver and chow or sharpei … and hes been mostly easy to train. House trained in 3 days. already know sit, lay down, and roll over. he’s good with stay if you’ve got one eye on him and he drops things on command, or the right tone of his name. Not so good at come here, or fetch.. but he’s only 4 months old, you can’t expect the world just yet.
