This anatomically incorrect depiction is of a coyote. The artist obviously had never seen one alive and likely based all of this depiction off of a pelt.
The muzzle and face are kind of correct, but the legs and body are way off. The tail is way too long. The skull and neck look nothing like any living dog I’ve seen, except maybe some bulldogs.
