This illustrates perfectly the discussions(sometimes HEATED on the Creationists’ part!) I have had with many a Biblical CRBTL(“Cannot Read Between The Lines”) literalist. I am always trying to point out(usually without success) that it is MIRACULOUS and AMAZING what HAS been discoverd and studied, instead of focusing on the stuff that hasn’t been unearthed YET. I also personally have no philisophical problems with BOTH parties being correct to a degree–IF there is an all-powerful creator being, wouldn’t evolution be the tool of creation that is the fairest, and makes the most sense? “Survival Of The Fittest” seems quite the most sensible and positive way to set up a system, and to me should be MORE comforting to the frail, sensitive(but enormous) human ego; in that it indicates ongoing, continual creation; going on every second of every millenia; rather than the “done-in-six-days-see-ya-at-the-apocalypse” kind of aloof philosophy! I’m just sayin’……Really, though, mankinds’ philosophising about such ponderisms with our tiny, limited brain capacity, rather reminds me of, say, cockroaches trying to explain and debate Algebra–there just ain’t enough in the exoskeleton to legitimetely do that, much less get dogmatic about the subject……
