   YOW – that is an ugly swelling on the right
   side of the dog’s foreface – to the left of the left-nostril,
   as U look at the photo. POOR dog! looks like a double puncture, 2 beestings? snake-bite? i dunno.

   the swelling extends clear up under the dog’s right eye.
   ow, ow, ow.

     I read about a mastiff named Lion, who was 1/4 Great Dane. He was of the Old Lyme Hall strain of mastiff, as are all that exist today, and he is the pedigree of many English mastiffs and many Scottish deerhounds and Irish wolfhounds. He was mated to a Scottish deerhound named Lufra.

     So there is a weird connection between mastiffs and Scottish deerhounds and Irish wolfhounds.

   Met the owners of a Irish Wolfhound and Tibetian Mastiff mix. Gonna be a big dog. Had more features of the Irish Wolfhound than Mastiff. Long narrow nose, and rough wirery coat. Beautiful animal Only about 2 months old. Really something to see.

   Hi there just wondering how you got that picture of the iwolfhound cross mastiff .I had a dog like this it was stolen 3 to 4 years ago it would safe to say that this is my dog was the best dog I ever had .whangarei (new Zealand)
