I don’t know why you would intentionally breed this cross. It would be tough for the male pom. He might need some help! I don’t think a female Pomeranian would survive either the mating or the whelping.

How do you think they get miniature Goldendoodles?
Mostly AI.
And they use the toy poodle studs.
Also they often cross the golden with a cocker, and breed that cross to the poodle.
That was a rhetorical question.
I actually fostered a ChiPom (Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix). This one looked more like a Chihuahua. They are cute puppies but this one was had a very dominant personality. I also noticed she was extremely observant and intelligent (was signaling to go outside for potty at 10 weeks) I did note an aggressive and bossy nature with other dogs. I have read that the Chihuahua prefers its own breed to other dog breeds so maybe that was why.
Years ago, my sister got a dog from a farmer. he said that the neighbor’s miniature poodle (male) mated to his German Shepard (female.) The pup, Bobbi, grew up to look allot like a labradoodle. She was cute and a bit timid. if you looked very closely in the bright daylight, at her charcoal (almost black) fur, you could see the German Shepard markings but other than that she looked mostly like an unclipped poodle. She said the farmer explained she found the poodle and shepard hooked up on the steps to his house… Bobbi weighed about 40lbs.
Sometimes the big bitches will oblige, but my goldens have always ignored the advances of little dogs. One Pomeranian used to do his “stud dog strut” in front of them, and they’d just take off. He was like the Star Trek guy on Frasier to them.
