I have rules regarding the dogs I will keep. One of those rules is that both eyes must face in the same direction. Sorry, little squish-faced dogs.

I’m with you Jess. For crying out loud if people want a cat just buy a cat and not a pseudo cat/dog critter with a new romantic hairdo!
Both eyes pointing to the front is a desirable characteristic in a dog or even a girl/boy friend, parent,workmate etc etc (not a desirable feature when buying chameleon however) .
