I’ve read the theory that this photo shows a dog with a stick in its mouth. I don’t see much of anything in the photo at all, so it then is like modern abstract b.s. art… you see what you want to see, the experience is in the mind not on the film.

Odds are this is a blow negative or double exposure as the light doesn’t makes sense, there are parts that are out of focus over parts that are, and there is actually very little detail to work with.

About as informative as reading tea leaves.

I can totally see a dog in the water with a large stick in its mouth. I’m guessing maybe a RETRIEVER(*giggle*)? It looks like a negative or black/white that was left in the exposure process too long. Could even been the pup we see as retrieverman’s logo LOL

I a certain light, it does look like a retriever with a stick, however, my 1st thought was a sidewinder (snake).
