Looks like a huge beardie cross-with some big feet and long ears so I guess some kind of hound.
Schnoodledoodlecaboodle? I don’t know, it’s probably something ridiculous like Bernese Mt Dog and Poodle. Looks like it’s a sizable dog.
Old English/Beardie? Old English would explain the size anyway….
I agree with the old English, he’s just too big for a Beardie. I think one parent has shortish hair, to produce that cross. My second guess is retriever, because this is retrieverman’s weblog. Are these webbed toes?

OES/Beardie?
For some reason I want to say it’s part Irish wolfhound. Probably because of the size. Plus, the coat looks more wire than anything else. Maybe Irish wolfhound and Old English sheepdog?
OES/Beardie would likely have a whole lot more hair, impossible hair! though he looks like typical 1/2 Beardie, except for the size!
