I’ve actually shaken Newt Gingrich’s hand– it was at Fox News headquarters in Washington.

But yeah. Newt Gingrich wanted to be a zoologist:
He loves zoos and animals.
I know.
That sounds like a shocker.
But of the things he’s into, this is one of his most redeeming features.
He’s quite obsessed with wildlife conservation issues.
I agree with every word that Newt says here.

Paleontologist. Well, it does involve animals. Long dead animals, but still animals.
It was either zoology or paleontology or leader of the free world.
I wonder if he and Red Ken Livingstone ever get together and discuss newts. Red Ken is a zoologist, as well as a former socialist mayor of London, and an amphibian expert. The Tories always called him “King Newt.”
BTW, it has come to my attention that the serval is on a Flexi lead.
