Some sort of Urocyon, I’d guess; has the correct stripes on the head and general colouring.

Is it a Cape Fox?
I’d *love* to know what it has in its mouth. I’m tired after a long day that started in a different time zone, but my brain SWEARS it’s got a huge cricket, legs on the near side of the fox’s muzzle and eyes on the far. Or maybe it’s bored and playing with a chunk of tree bark :)
