   I’m gonna say half Lab. But I can’t quite get the the other half. The feathering on the chest reminds me of another breed but it just won’t come to me.

    Well…. shoot. I’ve had 3 dogs, no, four, who sort of looked like this, and you’re telling us it is not any of those mixes :
    ≠ flapdoodle, smooth faced
    ≠ labrapyre
    ≠ newfa-flap
    ≠ newfapyre
    ≠ goldenblacklabrachow

    Okay, then, it is likely a bird dog with a black ancestor, crossed with… a terrier.

    Since it has a good sized blocky head, it might be a lab, or a even a newf or half newf, (flapnewf?) crossed into a standard schnauzer.

    Collie/golden? Only saying because I’ve seen a few “gollies” and they ended up looking like lightly built black retrievers.

    I see Molossor features. And it looks similar to a Rotweiller cross we once had. It could be a Rotweiller and Spaniel cross or a Rotweiller and Golden cross. I can’t see the body, but if its a barrel chested big frame… maybe a Rotweiller and Newfoundland cross. ???

    Just my 2 cents.

    hummm I have a Portuquese water dog and a pit/boxer mix…..so i would think it is a portuquese/pit…my pit/boxer looks exactly like pic but no wavy hair.

    I have a golden nufie that looks exactly like this dog. His hair is not quite that long yet, he’s just seven months.
