The fox(es) we have making these kinds of noises are red and our dogs really get riled when the noises start every spring…….usually in the wee hours when everyone is asleep too. Thankfully they seem to get used to it after a few sessions & ignore it. The first spring I heard it, I had no clue what it was – in my slumber, it sounded like a woman screaming at first…..very weird.
Terriers went bonkers hearing this….
