     I bet Obama does better in South Carolina than West Virginia. He will struggle to get over 40 percent of the vote here. I bet when it’s all said and done Romney’s best state east of the Mississippi River was West Virginia.

     But I now know what it was like for the 300 or so people in West Virginia (which was then Virginia) who voted for Abraham Lincoln in the election of 1860. People actually do think I’m a traitor. Although I have bumper stickers and a yard sign, I have put out none of them. Too prone to be ripped off or stolen.

   Hey, he’s “got a plan,” dude! We’ve never heard boo about details, but he’s got one. No, really. But I’m voting for Obama so I can continue getting my handouts.

   What a bunch of robots, hearing but not listening, then regurgitating it, just like Mitty wants them to. It’s exactly what the GOP wants, a bunch of sheep to lead over the hill’s edge without asking a question.

     I’m sure his plan works and cuts the deficit in half and grows the economy by 5%. And it also puts a chicken in every pot and car in every garage (and maybe an elevator for that garage too!). But it’s so super special and so super secret that Obama would have just stolen it and run on it.

     I tried argue with someone about what Bain Capital is. These people honestly have no clue what private equity is or how it works. I linked to a Rolling Stone piece by Matt Taibbi. I was told that was a music magazine that doesn’t cover politics!

       Isn’t it sad, almost to the point of being horrifying?

       Don’t forget the 12 million jobs Romney will create if elected. 12 million. But did he say they’d be in the US? I don’t recall…

   That may be cm, but unfortunately a significant percentage of US voters (all parties) are morons, regurgitating sound bites and making their way merrily to the cliff’s edge. In the case of many I’ve met who have/will vote for R-money, that percentage seems to be a bit higher than average. The remainder of those I’ve met are voting for him because they think he’ll be good for small business–a proposition not borne out by market statistics.
