   The pink nose is probably enough by itself to disqualify him/her as a breeder. But the muzzle length surely cinches it.

   But does he have balls? if born to a show breeder he would have been tagged ‘pet’ and put on limited register very early in life.

   there is a family near me who have a lovely little pug x pom, he looks bodily just like a pug but has a proper face and a decent muzzle, he looks just like that chap, and he can sure run, and breath at the same time. he is a lovely little dog.

   You see, there are plenty of ways forward to save the pug concept, it just needs some pug aficianados young enough to see such a project through to somewhere near conclusion.
