Nice pictures; I was wondering when that seemingly perpetual wood near you eventually came out into the open. All hatches battened down in southern England ready for Sunday night’s big daddy of a storm off the wild Atlantic – say our increasingly accurate forecasters. We are surrounded by big trees, some of which will most likely fall across our powerlines and narrow roads. Camping stove, matches and gas lamps etc are already in position…!
It is a good day to be outside with your dog in some lucky places.
Other places are cold and wet, or hot and muggy, or nearly freezing with hail.
It looks nice where you are Scotty. I like the new header, same pretty dog and it downloaded faster.
Chervilmeadow, I read about that storm coming your way – worst storm in 26 years or something like that. Going blow away unleash poodles and thin cats? The news here says not to drive a car in the wind and downpour rains that are expected. Also some power failures – I guess from the trees you mentioned.
Glad to hear you are prepared. So you might be offline for awhile if the power lines get treewhacked?
Mary and I each have sony walkman radios and mobiles if all other forms of communication fail. I can hear the wind getting up even now at midday on Sunday, so time to take the dogs out as it’s still dry but with storm clouds racing across the sky. I’m Peter by the way.
