What kind of dog is that?
It’s a smooth-coated Brussels griffon.
We had a rough coated griffon called sasha, but for only nine years before she died from kydney failure. She had the amusing but awkward habit that when she found herself on a familiar walk she would always insist on going the exact same way with no deviation from the programmed route whatsoever. She was a one person little dog, Mary my wife being that person.
I forgot to mention, we got sasha because of a film we were watching on a plane from England to SanFrancisco. It was called ‘As good as it gets’ with Jack Nicholson. I was feeling sleepy and just before I nodded off I heard Mary saying “what a sweet little dog” which became my excuse to add to our little gang…
I’ve seen Brussel puppies (all seven of them) a while back, such a friendly breed of dog. Shame they suffer from SM. Has SM become worse in the breed?
