I can relate to the whole “This dog found me” experience. Having grown up in the middle of the piney woods of NWLA, I can relate to the profound need of spending lots of time with nature. People feel sorry for us here in flyover land because we don’t have a Whole Foods store. We don’t really need one, cause grandma is still making jelly and raising chickens… so we feel sorry for them that they have to spend all day in traffic looking at tailpipes.
