This looks like a good film:
It’s about a trapper who lives in the Yukon with his wife and pack of sled dogs.
It’s exactly the sort of thing I’d watch.

I don’t care how much of this is “recreated” or contrived, I’d LOVE to see it!!!!!! Is it going to be on cable, or in the theatres? I have very limited access to either(sigh)…..and watching the sled dogs running loose–this is the type of thing Siberian Husky people(show and city people with Siberians, that is….) VEHEMENTLY DENY–that Siberians(and other sled dog types) can EVER be trusted off lead! It simply depends on where you live, and whether or not your Siberian is your PRISONER, or your PARTNER!! I never had any problem free-running Siberians, Malamutes, or wolf-hybrids where I lived in a remote area of the Southern Appalachians, but whenever I mention this to such urbanized Siberian people, they are quite sure I am the greatest of liars(I was denied the adoption of a Siberian from a Siberian rescue by such people for just this reason!).
….okay, I “Googled” it—came out in 2004! Just shows how media deprived and out-of-touch I am! It IS available on Amazon, but it is rather $teep–but I would like to see it, and will probably break down and get it one of these days……
Just watched this one earlier. Debating whether or not I should review it. It’s bordering a really badly-acted film, and a subpar documentary.
