Yep. That whole post is an April Fools’ prank.
It didn’t get nearly the traction that last year’s prank post did. It wound up cross-posted in several places.
The image above is of a Peruvian dog mummy, but it was actually a Pre-Columbian stock dog. It likely died of natural causes.
The DNA of these dogs have not been analyzed, but it is likely they are just regular domestic dogs.
I totally made up the thing about the domestic maned wolves. It’s not true.
But it COULD have been, just like BIGFOOT…….Even if I HAD guessed it right and tried to expose you, you would have just DELETED me like you did last year! But that’s one of those cases where deleting is acceptably necessary……
I had to delete Bjarne’s comments this year, too.
I hate to do that, but you have to.
Otherwise, the prank won’t work.
