Jess sent me this photo of a lurcher with obvious Afghan hound ancestry. According to her rescuers, she weighs only about 11 kg (24ish pounds.) Because of her size, I think it’s an Afghan/Bedlington terrier cross lurcher:

I had thought she was an Afghan/Deerhound cross but I didn’t look at the size. Afghan bitches can be small (Freya is about 24″, but is much heavier than 24lbs.) Definitely a Beddie cross, then.
Looks just like my afghan/standard poodle cross.
She could be my dogs sister. I know for sure that he is an afghan/poodle mix
