As lovers of Hungarian breeds (my family has a 5-1/2 months old Kuvasz puppy), we also looked into the possibility of bringing in a Komondor puppy. The ‘Mop Dog’ looks awesome, but we could not find any breeder in Ontario.A smaller Hungarian breed of similar chords of hair is Puli that we saw with a well-known breeder.

  Didn’t want to bring one in from B.C.? I got my Vallhund from Ontario, and ticket was only like $100 to fly him into Vancouver.

Visiting the breeder there and interacting with litter and the breed would have been difficult. On the contrary, there are 5 Kuvasz breeders within 2-1/2 hours of easy drive from where I live.
