  Yes, but they are most closely related to guinea fowl.

I have never seen a peacock in flight. How amazingly beautiful!

Guinea hens were the silliest, dumbest birds we ever raised. Tasty though

    The only other uglier call from a beautiful animal is that of bull elk’s.
