I assume somebody is a rabid vegetarian? I wonder if he knows that plants have an analog to an animal’s nervous system? I also wonder if he swats mosquitoes or just lets them dine?
An analog is not an equivalent. And some analogies are better than others, per the more recent blog here regarding comparing dogs to wolves.
perhaps the next video can be on the impact growing crops does on the environment — clear cutting, pesticides, fertilizer, use of water, and of course, eliminating any animal that might eat the crops before we do. You cannot live on the planet without impacting the environment and other living things. We wouldn’t need large factory farms / ranches if we didn’t have a large population on the planet. A total population of 100,000 humans would have a neglible impact on the environment.
