Whew! I sat through the whole thing (and replayed several parts.) The argument I liked best was that about Foraminifera. Unfortunately, that one wouldn’t register w/ a Young Earther because “obviously” the earth couldn’t be that old (’cause “the Bible tells ’em so.”)
Nevertheless, thanks for posting this one, the potentially most valuable part is his reference to the Public Library of Science, which I intend to look up.
PZ Myers is one of my heroes. He can be an ass when he needs to be, too.
Because I’m naturally hot-headed, I try not to let rancor inform my arguments. (In my view the first debater to get angry loses the argument.) That doesn’t mean I’ll fold, but it does mean I won’t get personal (unless I lose my cool.) But it can be difficult at times.
That last comment of mine was s’posed to be in response to Myers being “an ass when he needs to be.” Sorry…
